This day reminds us about the sacrifices that accompanied the struggle for the attainment of democracy in our country.Our democracy came with bloodshed and pain and disruption of families and livelihoods. We take this time as Petra Institute of Development to commemorate and honour those who fought for our liberation and the rights we enjoy today.
