The qualification serves to provide opportunity for new and existing public sector employees to gain financial management competencies.
Learners should be competent in:
* Communication at NQF Level 4 and
* Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy at NQF level 4
* Computer Literacy at NQF Level 3
The Petra Institute of Development training approach is highly interactive. A combination of presentations is used by the facilitator and by participant(s).
