- This generic assessor unit standard is for people who assess or intend to assess candidates against unit standards and/or qualifications.
- People who have achieved this unit standard will be able to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise in line with the Criteria for the Registration of Assessors.
- This unit standard will contribute towards the achievement of a variety of Education Training and Development Practices and Human Resource Development related qualifications.
- People credited with this unit standard are able to assess learner performance against standards and qualifications registered on the NQF, using pre-designed instruments. This will be carried out in a fair, valid, reliable and practicable manner that is free of all bias and discrimination, paying particular attention to the three groups targeted for redress: race, gender and disability.
